United Kingdom Joan Miro Painting Sets Record at Auction
The 1927 painting Peinture (Etoile Bleue) was sold at auction for over 23.5 million pounds at a London auction. The price set a record for one of Miro's paintings, the previous record had been 16.8 million pounds in February of 2012.
