At least 91 killed, scores wounded in separate bombings across Baghdad - At least 91 people were killed Sunday in two bombings in the Iraqi capital, including a large-scale attack claimed by the Islamic State group that killed 86 people -- among them 15 children -- in a central shopping district, officials said.

The bombings demonstrated the extremists' ability to mount significant attacks despite major battlefield losses, including the city of Fallujah, which was declared "fully liberated" from IS just over a week ago. Know more

Belgian Citizens Lose Right To Not Be Tracked By Facebook - Facebook is now free to track users’ internet activity regardless of whether they are signed into the social network after a Brussels appeals court dismissed an earlier ruling banning the practice.

The Belgian Commission for the Protection of Privacy implemented a rule forbidding Facebook from tracking users’ behavior — such as engagement, likes, and shares — via cookies in browser plugins that collect data even if the user isn’t logged in. Facebook faced a €250,000 (now approximately $277,500) daily penalty for continuing the practice. Know more

While The Spotlight Was On Offshore Drilling, Fracking Quietly Made Its Way Into Our Oceans - The Gulf of Mexico has been struggling with the pollution from offshore oil drilling for a long time, a struggle that was dramatically highlighted by the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill six years ago.

But now it has come to light that the oil industry is conducting offshore fracking in the Gulf, which is even more dangerous than conventional oil drilling, according to the Center for Biological Diversity. UK Rolls Royce Sold To Volkswagen 



After many months of negotiations, together with a bidding war with BMW and high court battles Rolls Royce is sold to Volkswagen for £479m. Volkswagen has stated that the manufacture of Rolls Royce cars will continue at Rolls-Royce's Crewe headquarters in England. The Saga of who owned the rights to produce cars with the famous Rolls Royce emblem continued for the next few years as unknown to Volkswagen they had not bought the rights to use the RR Logo. Over the next few years BMW and Volkswagen did come to an arrangement where Volkswagen own and build Bentleys with Volkswagen Engines at the old Rolls Royce factory in Crewe in England and BMW own and produce Rolls Royce Cars with BMW engines at Goodwood in Englan
